Rachel made another LO and card from the Inspiration Kit. Rachel's LO and card is really outstanding. Simple yet conveys the message so well. More eye candy for you all. I just love the Pink Paislee papers.

Doesn't the little one look so georgous in this LO?

The flowers really stand out on the card.

All items from inspiration kit except:

Card: Cardstock (yellow and terracotta), foam tape and Ranger Distress Ink - Shabby Shutters

Love the Blue Moon paper... Simply awesome. Now I've got to get myself to do something with it, too.

At long last...

Finally, I've got the store updated. I've put in the Pink Paislee stuff on, and soon some ribbons will be uploaded. Fingers crossed, all these will be done by tonight. In the next few days, will have other embellishments in the shop, including some from Around the Block. Trying my best to get that all up before the Hari Raya break. Take a peek at our store: www.kindasweet.com.

Toodles!

Rachel's Child's Play kit designs

Have been away for some time. Before I give anyone the idea that we have disappeared, it's because I've been down sick for almost a week, and over the weekend was at Subang Parade's craft market. More on the craft market in another post.

Anyway, enough about myself. I have procrastinated for far too long, now. I have here Rachel's design work for the Child's Play kit. 2 LOs and a card. Super! Here are the pcitures. I just love her style.

Aren't both the kids really cute?

The Little Miss looks georgous on her bike here in this earthy tones layout.

Apart from the kit, Rachel also used the following items:
Bazzil & Jennifer Birch cardstock
Foam Tape
Ribbon
Ranger Ink
Fiskars Threading Water Punch

Beginner's Children Class

Last Saturday, we conducted a small class for children at ALIMkids Bookshop in Subang. A small class of 5, but we had fun nonetheless making a mini "I am Thankful" book. The kids were very creative and we just need to be on hand to teach them some techniques and they were off by themselves, decorating, writing, etc. It's amazing to see how much creativity children posses but are very often not fulfilled. Here are some pictures of the day.

All hard at work on their mini album
Completed projects, Yahoo!

The class of 5.

We will organise more classes after Ramadhan. Please email us at: info@kindasweet.com for more information.

Pirate Affair Kit: Cards Part II

Here's the second part of the cards that Rachel made. Another 6 of them, all equally beautiful. I am lost for words, so I'll just let the pictures do the talking.

New items in store

I loaded up some new items in the store yesterday. They were from Stampendous. The riboons have still not been loaded, but here's two photos of some of the stuff which will be progressively added to the store within this two days.

I love the ribbons. We have organza, satin and grossgrain. They are just simply beautiful. Pictures can never do them justice.

Stamps, stamps and more stamps (and some stickers too). Such great fun.

More from Pirate Affair - Cards Part I

Warning... Lots of pictures ahead!

In addition to the layout that Rachel did, she also made a whole set of cards from the kits. I can only say wow! I love it all. :)
To make the cards, some of her own materials were used. These include:
- Black & Red cardstock - Black ink - Happy Birthday Stamp - Gold & Silver glimmer mist - Stickles - Double sided foam tape - Glossy Accents - Staples
In order not to overload this post, I will break this into two parts. Feast your eyes! And don't salivate too much. LOL.

So, what do you think? Definitely pretty eye candy for this blog, eh? Part II will be coming soon!

RAchel's LO - Pirate Affair Kit

Here's a LO Rachel made from the Pirate Affair Kit, made up predominantly of Rusty Pickle's Pirate Princess Collection papers. That's not all she did, but just part of it. The other stuff she made will be put on the web soon. I really like the LO. Simple yet instantly attractive. Here is a photo of the LO. BTW, isn't her baby girl such a georgous one?

In this LO, the alphas & double sided foam, are her own. Everything else is from the kit.

Now that I've whet your appetite, stay tune for the other stuff she made with the Pirate Affair kit. I'm sure you can't guess what it is!
